Men of Vision

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Men of Vision of the Praise Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church is to evangelize the unbelievers of the world.  We seek to Reach, Teach and Empower the Men of Praise Temple to go into the community to find those which are lost and to offer them the 'Plan of Salvation' to them.  We have established a goal to reach 50 New Souls each year and we have committed ourselves to that end.  We shall endeavor to be an example of excellence and compassion, as well as to show forth the strength and power that God has given us for this ministry.  We are totally submissive to this service for the Lord and we are committed to the edification of the Body of Christ.

Vision Statement

The Vision of the Men of Vision is to develop spirit-filled men in the Body of Christ, through the establishment of a caring ministry, dedicated to the development of a strong Brotherhood of Christian Men who are men of great courage and conviction and fully prepared to face the enemy, one-on-one, clothed in the full armor of God.  Our goals will be achieved through the following approach:

By the coming together to study the word and getting to know each other through socializing and spending time together as brothers in Christ.  We will establish a glue that will bind us together in Christian Love and Fellowship.  Through spiritual and administrative training, we shall develop our skills for social and economic development endeavors, so that we may be a better help to the community and to mankind in general; and by offering a balanced approach to the ministry, that aggressively pursues ways to enhance both the spiritual and natural lives of believers.  We will dedicate ourselves to the Will of God and commit ourselves to the task of evangelizing the lost souls throughout our church community.

It is our ultimate goal to provide the word, worship and kingdom building opportunities to advance the cause of Christ in this world.

Young Saints of Praise (YSOP)

Mission Statement

Youth ministry is a vital part of the overall church ministry. Our goal is to provide a supportive Christ-centered environment where youth may develop intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, physically and socially (Luke 2:52), - so that they may know Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is our desire to see them become true disciples of Christ (Matt 28:19-20), so that they may serve and love God wholeheartedly (Luke 10:27). All youth programs and activities are designed with this goal in mind.
Youth ministry implements the tasks of modeling, counseling, teaching, praying, supporting, mentoring, training and discipling. The message communicated to youth is not only by word or by action, but by providing a living example of Christian faith and realistic problem-solving. All youth workers strive to gain the trust and respect of the youth as their mentors.

This youth ministry desires to integrate youth into the life of the church body, to prepare then to become leaders now and tomorrow in the church and to equip the young saints for the work of service (Eph 4:12-13). This youth ministry takes a team approach, and values the active support and involvement of parents and other adults in caring for the youth.
